1/3 cup Cannalife Cannabis Infused Olive Oil
*Disclaimer: The amount of Cannalife Botanicals Olive Oil used will determine dosage, please know your tolerance.
Dosage: 1 Teaspoon of Cannalife Botanicals Olive Oil= 20mg THC
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cans chickpeas
2 large cloves garlic…. this can be to taste, I like more
2 Tbsp. Tahini
2 Tsp. cumin
3 fresh squeezed lemons
3 roasted red peppers…. can be store-bought, or roast your own.
Salt and pepper to taste
Mince garlic; simmer garlic and cumin in the canna-oil for about 2 minute. Only till garlic softens, do not brown the garlic. Best to keep on a lower simmer to be sure…. med-high heat
Place rest of ingredients except remaining olive oil into blender and blend well.
Slowly add remaining oil while blending…you will want a smooth creamy texture. If the remaining oil does not get your hummus to the texture you want, simply add a bit of warm water until desired consistency.
Now you will want to taste your hummus, if you feel it needs more salt and pepper, or garlic, or lemon simply add and rebelled to desired taste….
I prefer to make my hummus the day ahead as the flavours meld nicely in fridge overnight. Makes for a much tastier product.
